Novorossiyk
The Novorossiysk is one of the smallest commercial starships in service to humanity.  Ships of this class are fairly common in spite of their handicaps, as they are inexpensive to purchase and to operate.  The Novorossiysk is a free trader design, allowing a very small crew to transport small cargoes and passengers to destinations off the beaten path.  It is heavily armed for such a small vessel, and is considered capable of taking care of itself in most pirate encounters.  The Novorossiysk’s principal hang up is its very small size, which limits its cargo margin to just 16% of total MASS, and also makes the vessel too small for an effective spin habitat.  The Novorossiysk class does not even bother with one, though there is allowance in the internal design to permit the ship to tumble end over end during transit to provide about 0.10G effective gravity.  The lack of a spin habitat limits the endurance of even crews made up of Belters.  In spite of these drawbacks, the Novorossiysk is a popular design with free traders and with the Russian and Ukrainian space forces as scouts and courier ships.  Several examples exist in Sagittarius, and the templates to construct them were available at a very affordable price prior to the Stargate collapse.
