Spacecraft are organized here by their general classification. Clicking
on a link below will take you to a sub-directory for specific designs
within that classification.

| Small Craft and Tenders Small craft and Tenders are low endurance spacecraft lacking Stardrive capability. They are used within orbital space for linking larger spacecraft to orbital constructs or to the surfaces of worlds. This category includes spaceplanes and landers as well as unmanned drone starships and combat interface craft.

| Merchants Merchant vessels are the lifeblood of commerce in Sagittarius. They range from automated in-system cargo tugs to vast interstellar bulk carriers. They carry freight, passengers, livestock, mail parcels, news and other data. Capturing or destroying these vessels is frequently seen as an important war aim, and several merchant classes are armed against attack. |
| Resource and Support Resource and Support vessels provide raw materials and support activities that make interstellar colonization possible.
| Explorers Exploration vessels catalogue and survey worlds for colonization and exploitation.
| Scouts and Couriers Scouts are military vessels used for system reconnaissance and electronic surveillance. They have high endurance and powerful drives to allow them to avoid pursuit by System Defense Boats. Couriers are messenger vessels that rapidly conduct small but vital cargoes or important passengers across interstellar distances.

| Yachts Yachts are privately owned personal starships. The expense of interstellar spacecraft is so great that possession of a yacht is considered to be one of the ultimate status symbols.
| Corvettes and System Defense Boats (SDBs) Corvettes are small military starships tasked with convoy escort across interstellar distances. They are generally sufficient protection against pirates and commerce raiders. System Defense Boats are non-starship spacecraft charged with escorting convoys within a system, and patrol and interdiction duties against hostile commerce raiders and pirates. Larger SDBs are known as Monitors, and are a better than even match against a warship of comparable displacement.
| Warships Warships are military starships with a displacement between 6000 and 16,500 metric tons. They include frigates, destroyers, cruisers, and small carriers. |
| Capital Warships The largest military starships are symbols of a nation's might, and constitute a major expense to a nation's budget. These warships are known as capital ships. They range from heavy cruisers to battleships to carriers to assault landing ships.

| Orbital Constructs Orbital constucts range from space stations and orbital factories to supply depots and giant telescope arrays.
