Dreamliner
The Dreamliner is a passenger liner found in upscale lines.  Unlike its competing design, the Astral Queen, the Dreamliner is a luxury vessel with a large valet and entertainment staff to cater to the passengers.  While the Dreamliner can carry up to 300 3rd Class passengers, in practice ships were rarely fitted out with more than a handful of 3rd Class cabins.  Ships of the renowned Blue Diamond Cruise Line frequently sported two or more Grand Class suites, each one counting as twelve 3rd Class cabins.  Voyages aboard passenger starships in the 24th century are usually not simply for the pleasure of the voyage itself, which takes weeks or even months to reach some destinations, but to reach a destination in another star system.  The Dreamliner took notable exception to this concept; with its large passenger cabins, recreation areas, a pair of restaurants, a small casino, and even live entertainment of its guests, a voyage could go beyond simple comfort and become a reason unto itself.  Naturally, the ticket price for such a voyage reflected the experience, but this too was of little concern for companies like Blue Diamond, as a trip to Terranova or to Delta Pavonis became a most conspicuous form of consumption for the rich and shameless.

Two Dreamliners from Blue Diamond Cruise Lines were in Sagittarius at the time of the Stargate crash. Both ships have remained in the Fury System since January of 2361 while the remnants of Blue Diamond determine if they can continue operations in their present circumstances.  Both ships were chartered for tours of the 'savage frontier' of Sagittarius before returning to civilization in Orion, and now that their passengers are stranded, the bloom is now off the rose in that regard.  The SDC is considering the option of subsidizing Blue Diamond Cruise Lines for defense and logistics operations, though this would involve refitting the accommodations to a more utilitarian setup.
