	The Armada of the Mercer Compact has compiled a registry of all lawfully recognized ships in Sagittarius and made this registry available to the public, though primarily to ship's masters and their watch officers as a reference.  The AMC Registry includes all starships and any spacecraft above 2000 tons mass displacement, their ship class, and who they are currently registered to.  Spacecraft are required to broadcast an encrypted transponder signal carrying the information of their registry at all times when underway.  These encrypted transponders are provided by the Sagittarius Development Corporation, and are very difficult, if not impossible to crack.  In most cases, merely attempting to open up the sealed transponder case will cause irrevocable damage to the unit. Ships listed in Yellow are active vessels. Ships listed in Green are vessels given registry numbers but are still under construction or whose construction is merely authorized at this time. Ships listed in Red are vessels who have been scrapped, declared lost, or destroyed.
